Timestamps are nice but real chapter marks are more convenient imho. https://docs.podlove.org/podlove-publisher/faq/chapter-marks/

Most podcast players support them like Overcast, Pocket Cast and so on.

You can easily skip or jump to a chapter using you normal controls f.e. the forward/backwards controls of your headphone.

Ah, I see now. That's a good point, we'll try to start adding those!

I find the dual numbering scheme a little confusing - LWiAIP is number 123 but LWiAIN is number 220? Is there supposed to be overlap? Just me? Should they be unified?

hey - yeah I agree it is confusing. We started the podcast way after the newsletter, so their numbering are indeed different. I figured titling 'LWiAI Podcast #' vs 'Last Week in AI #' would make it less confusing, but feel free to suggest a different approach!

Hmmm. I wasn't counting on making a useful suggestion. What if you just have LWiAI 223 - notes and LWiAI 223 - podcast. Just skip the podcast numbers ahead. Or drop the numbers and use dates? LWiAI notes for 2023-07-23, LWiAI podcast for 2023-07-23? Guess I would vote for a unified number scheme since you have been using numbers for so long

hmm, the two are kind of different, the text newsletter is not exactly notes for the podcast. Will have a think on it and consider revising naming!

Hey, nice episode!

Did you ever think of adding chaptermarks to your podcast? This could really help the listener to easy jump to one chapter or skip chapters.

keep up the great work!

Hi! We did add timestamps for each news story in the description of the podcast, do you have something else in mind for chaptermarkers?
